I have a big God indeed

This week we started a Bible study over Proverbs 31 Ministries, entitled Limitless Life: You Are More Than Your Past When God Holds Your Future, and even though I haven’t had the chance to read the first two chapters for this week {I’m hoping to catch up this weekend} I’ve found it really powerful. I really believe is a life-transforming book.

The main message is that God is in the business of stitching on new labels for all who desire one. You are not what people or even you think of yourself, God has better and prettier tags for you 🙂 But you must be willing to trade your tags for God’s ones, and that takes humility.

“God only stitches new labels in the hearts of those who are humble enough to admit they need new ones.” ~ Derwin L. Gray

For this Blog Hop I want to share how big God has been in my life, I’m choosing the  second Topic in the guidelines: SNAP IT: A BIG GOD

1. MAP IT: Ephesians 2:22 ~ Expand our weekly verse using various study methods (verse mapping, word studies, etc.).
2. SNAP IT: A BIG God ~ Share on your blog a photo or word art that you have created that testifies of God’s greatness.
3. WRITE IT: In the Valley of Sheep ~ It is here David learns to depend on God. Are you here now? Do you feel unnoticed and like your assignment is not important? After reading this chapter of Limitless Life, how has your perspective changed?
4. SHARE IT: Let’s Hear Your Story ~ Do you have a story or testimony of going from Afraid to Courageous or Addict to Free?

The Photo that testifies of God’s greatness is this:

My daughter.

Through her God has shown me more of Him and His amazing grace.

Through her God has shown me His love and how much He believes in me by depositing a beautiful, tiny and fragile life in my hands.

Through her God has changed the labels “incapable”, “useless”, and “you do everything wrong” for “capable”, “with purpose” and “you can do EVERYTHING through me”.

He surely does  immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us –  Ephesians 3:20, to Him be the glory, forever and ever. Amen
